Steve recently installed a powered anode rod in my water heater and did excellent work. He paid attention to the finishing details — the kind of things other companies often overlook — and I really appreciated that. Pricing was fair, transparent, and exactly as quoted. Family owned local plumber. Took care of our needs in this 100 year old city house. New toilets, and fixed a main drain issue, as well a few other minor things. Scott (dad) and Steve (son) have years of experience. Detail oriented. Fast and efficient. Nancy (mom) handles the phone and is a great communicator. We paid what they quoted. Will certainly use them again.

I was referred to Riley’s by Betty and Lori McCants. From the moment I spoke to Nancy, I felt a level of comfort because she suggested another alternative to fix my issue. First Rate Family Owned Company! Scott and Nancy are honest, thorough and efficient in every aspect of delivering service. Riley has been my plumbing company for at least fifteen years. I have found them to be reliable and accommodating each and every time I have needed service. In addition, I have a service contract with them that gives members priority in an emergency plus a 15 percent discount on parts. Scott was here last week with another technician and they were able to perform an additional service right on the spot. I definitely found that to be convenient. When they were here they even gave me a beautiful wall calendar and some hand sanitizer. That is old fashioned service at its best!

I called Riley Plumbing & Heating at 7:25 in the morning and described my problem to Carmella E. and she scheduled me for a 2-hour window around midday which was fine. A short while later Carmella called back to ask if an earlier appointment would be OK! That was terrific because a couple of sinks in this old house finally had enough and would not drain water. Jason S. arrived and quickly diagnosed the problems, which I could not have handled myself no matter what. In about 90 minutes Jason had both sinks draining like new -- better than ever since we moved in 16 years ago. Plus he instructed me with some tips on how to keep the drains clear WITHOUT CHEMICALS! 5 Stars for Riley P&H!

I highly recommend this family owned and operated company that really cares about your business. Scott Riley came right out to give me an estimate on my water heater replacement. He noticed an issue that required immediate attention that the previous company who came out to look at my system did not notice at all. He took action to rectify the situation before I even told him I would be giving him my business. His final price came out almost $1000 less than the company that I had used for over a decade. He completed the job in an hour less than the other company told me they would need, and took care of my property so as not to leave a mess. He explained all of my options to me and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Telephone calls are promptly returned. A very pleasant experience.

Washing machine was discharging into my mother's basement from what appeared to be a loosened elbow joint. Called Riley around noon and they were at the house by 2:00. They quickly evaluated the situation and discovered that the elbow joint was connected to an abandoned pipe so all that needed to be done was cap the pipe. No more leaks! Excellent service. Highly recommend them!

An appt was made to have the water heater leak repaired, the owner arrived at our house on time, wearing a mask very courteous and professional. He was able to fix our leak in record time with a very affordable price. He gave us a full report and said to call him if there are any issues. We will use him in the future for any plumbing needs. 5 star review

We had a leaky kitchen sink faucet that needed to be replaced. Scott came out the morning after I called and addressed the problem very quickly! Luckily he had some very nice, high quality faucets with him, so I didn't have to wait to order one. As he replaced it, he showed me the difference in quality of the faucet I had, with the one he was replacing it with. It was night and day. He guaranteed the faucet for 4 years as well. He was very friendly, and personable and gave me advice on some other plumbing questions I had. To note, he was very safety conscious; taking many COVID related precautions including wearing a mask, gloves, and laying down a mat on the floor where he was working. He cleaned up thoroughly when he was done. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and he was very professional. I highly recommend Riley Plumbing and Heating! Also, take advantage of their Platinum Partner plan, it's a great deal!

Needed a plumber for a look at a water stain that was growing larger each day. Was worried as it was approaching our cabinets. Called many plumbers but couldn't come out for a week. Called Riley and they came out the next day. Very clear in their description of the problem and even pointed out another issue that would have been a larger problem if we hadn't fixed it. Found the prices to be reasonable.With COVID being an issue, they were upfront that they would be wearing a mask and gloves and required that we wear a mask as well. We appreciated the concern shown. Would definitely recommend and use again!

After our heat went out (boiler) on a cold night, I called all the "emergency" plumbing places to try to have someone come out on short notice. Riley's was legitimately the 8th place I called (I just checked my phone records to make sure). Other companies had left me on hold, my calls simply gone to voicemail, and told me that I would receive a call back in a few minutes (no call ever came). When I called Riley's a person picked up and asked me what was wrong. I explained the problem AND HE ACTUALLY UNDERSTOOD WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. He had a plumber at my house within 4 hours (it was the next day by the time I called them). Our plumber, Will Riley, was excellent and charged a fair price for the repair.......as well as the repair of my attempted repair. Riley's will be my first call from now on.

They were great! They came within 24 hours (what I had wasn’t an emergency), gave me advice, a solid quote (which ended up being less), did the job quickly, cleanly all while my dog was barking in his crate which for sure was a distraction and a half. Great service! My sewage pump stopped working and when I first started calling around about getting it fixed, it seemed like it would take days to get someone to the house to even look at it. Riley's was able to rearrange their schedule for the day to get to me faster, knowing I could not shower or use the bathroom until this was fixed. They were at my house only two hours after I called.Scott was very friendly and got to work right away doing a very dirty job without complaint. When he confirmed that the pump would need to be replaced, his team went straight to work finding the replacement pump. Even after finding a pump that they could receive and install the next day, they kept looking and quickly found one that could be installed the same day! I know someone in the area that had his sewage pump fail last year and it took him (using a different service company) 2-3 days for them to diagnose the problem, find a pump, and replace it. From the moment I called Riley to when the job was completely done was about 8 hours!Thank you Scott and the whole Riley team for the efficient and professional work.
